MADINAH – Several Malaysian pilgrims have praised the ease and speed with which the Makkah Route Initiative services were carried out in their country. The initiative is aimed at shortening the pilgrims' wait to complete departure and arrival formalities at the airport. The pilgrims expressed thanks to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman for the noble services they are providing to the pilgrims and visitors to the Prophet's Mosque and all that facilitates performing Haj and Umrah rites with security, safety, tranquility and peace of mind. Saudi Press Agency reporters interviewed several pilgrims who benefited from the initiative in the piazzas of the Prophet's Mosque . Al-Haj Sabri Jawhari expressed thanks to the Kingdom's government for implementing this initiative in Malaysia and for the great efforts the Kingdom is exerting to improve services being provided to the pilgrims, Umrah performers and visitors to the Two Holy Mosques and harnessing technology to facilitate for them in carrying out their rites. He prayed to Allah Almighty to protect the Kingdom, its leaders and the people and to make the bounties of security and safety everlasting. Female pilgrim Al-Hajjah Rufaizah Bint Hashim said: "We found best services at Kuala Lumpur International Airport and we were welcomed warmly on arrival in Madinah, The Makkah Route Initiative has placed all its potentials at the disposal of the pilgrims to ensure their comfort, peace of mind and tranquility." Al-Hajjah Nahidah Hussein said: "I have visited these blessed lands several years ago, but this year I have found a big difference in facilitating registration procedures via the Makkah Route Initiative at Kuala Lumpur airport and organization of services for Malaysian pilgrims to facilitate carrying out of travel procedures to the Kingdom. In addition, we were received warmly with gifts, roses, sweets, dates and Zamzam water." Al-Haj Al-Khuza'iy Bin Sulaiman lauded the Makkah Route Initiative that has facilitated all procedures for the pilgrims and enabled them to reach their residence with ease and without any hitches. Al-Khuzai'y admired the Kingdom's care and attention for the pilgrims, especially aged pilgrims, by receiving them with wheelchairs ready from the moment they arrived until boarding the buses allocated for them. They were provided whatever assistance they needed.
