Etihad Etisalat (Mobily), organized Sunday the first Business Resilience Conference in cooperation with IBM in Riyadh. The conference witnessed significant presence of senior officials of Mobily and IBM lead by Dr. Marwan Al-Ahmadi, Mobily's CBO along with public and private sector officials in the Kingdom. The conference focused on business resilience where a new technology significantly supports business development considering flexibility and reliability in facing risks. Dr. Al-Ahmadi complimented on the Kingdom telecom sector growth, thanks to the government spends in the largest announced budget of 2013. He added that Mobily keeps pace with this unprecedented growth in business sector. “Our cooperation with IBM creates new horizons to come up with distinctive solutions for business sector. This strategic partnership between Mobily and IBM will result in providing services and solutions to support business resilience and efficiency,” said Dr. Al Ahmadi. The conference browsed several solutions which reflect the success of this partnership whereas Mobily is armed with advanced reliable infrastructure due to IBM's advanced technologies. Further, Mobily and IBM signed a 5-year partnership agreement last August allowing Mobily to provide innovative solutions of information technology to business sector, in addition to cloud computing to meet the Saudi market requirements. — SG
