Thrilling matches in RCA T20

RIYADH — RCA T20 witnessed some thrilling encounters this week. Green Bangla, Jibreel, KFSH Green and Pak Force won their matches in Huraymala League, while Abaseen, Kashmir XI, Jinnah, Falcons, Pak Riderz and Sinmar triumphed in Hayer league. This event is organized by Riyadh Cricket Association at RCA complex.
Huraymala League
Jibreel humbled Royce White Star by 23 runs. Jibreel put on 254-6. Abdullah carried his form from previous tournament by producing another astonishing innings of 126. Prashant hit 58 and Sajid 33. Sheeraz and Mudasir took 2 wickets each. Royce fought hard but managed only 231 in reply. Umar (62), Sohail (48) and Amjad (32) were the key contributors. Sohail and Abdullah claimed 2 wickets each.
KFSH Green beat AR Sports Blue by 2 runs. KFSH tallied 156-9. Shiraz (24) and Mansoor (21) batted well. Hamed, Nadeem and Abubaker grabbed 2 wickets each. AR Sports came so close to victory by making 154. Nadeem played a fighting innings of 60. Nabeel, Azfal and Mansour claimed 2 wickets each.
Green Bangla registered a win over Sialkot XI by 6 wickets. Sialkot posted 206-6. Amjad top scored with 63, while Zahid (47) and Nadeem (33) also batted well. Hassan picked up 3 wickets. Bangla won the match in 18.1 overs. Shahid scored a standout 105 and Anwer made 38. Jamil got 2 wickets.
Pak Force got the better of Riyadh Warriors Blue by 6 wickets. Warriors recorded 167-7. Abudlaziz whacked 40 and Toufiqe 38. Hamza, Kamal and Tahir bagged 2 wickets each. Pak Force rushed to the target in 16.2 overs. Kashif top scored with 92 and Fayyaz hit 28.
Hayer League
Abaseen thrashed Ar Riyadh Zalmi by 5 wickets. Zalmi accumulated 209-6. Umair smashed 50, Shabir 49 and Amir 47. Hayat snared 3 wickets and Muheeb 2. Abaseen succeeded in 18.1 overs. Muheeb hit 61 and Aftab 54. Arif picked up 3 wickets and Amir 2.
Kashmir XI trounced Indian Strikers by 6 wickets. Strikers put on 138. Fenil scored 50 and Sunil 47. Aarif grabbed 4 wickets. Kashmir XI chased down the target in 17.1 overs. Abid whacked 60 and Amir 59. Ashraf Cherukoden bagged 2 wickets.
Jinnah swept to victory over Karachi Kings by 26 runs. Jinnah piled up 216-6. Bilal led the innings with 115 and Rehmat Ullah hit 58. Shahzad, Zain and Syed picked up 2 wickets each. Karachi fumbled to 190 in reply. Mohsin belted 64 and Afzal 33. Faisal clinched 3 wickets, while Umair and Ali claimed 2 each.
Kashmiri Falcons pounded PTI Tigers by 41 runs. Batting first, Falcons posted 181-6. Faheem smacked 79 and Zahid 30. Abdul Rehman and Muhaib took 2 wickets each. In reply, PTI Tigers scrambled to 140. Abdul Aziz (36) and Sami Ullah (33) showed some resistance. Imran bagged 4 wickets. Irfan and Nasir took 2 wickets each.
Pak Riderz thrashed Thales by 26 runs. Pervaiz (50), Danish (48) and Asim (34) took Riderz to 214-8. Tasdeeq took 3 wickets and Aziz Shiraz 2. Thales replied with 188. Aziz (51) and Vishal (38) put up some fight. Pervaiz and Rizwan claimed 3 wickets each, while Saim got 2.
Riyadh Fighters won a thriller by one run against Riyadh United. Fighters posted 178-3. Omer top scored with 65 and Hameed hit 50. Zaeem grabbed 2 wickets. United managed only 177, falling 1 short by one run for a tie. Zaeem led the innings with 65 and Naveed batted well for 54. Majid took 4 wickets and Abdul 2.
Sinmar won over Challengers by 6 wickets. Challengers collected 148-9. Fazil (59) and Nisar (24) batted well. Navas claimed 3 wickets and Sardar Riyas 2. Sinmar won the match in the 15th over. Navas scored 45 and Ishtiaq 33. Ashik and Faizal grabbed 2 wickets each.
