Ehsaan Saleh Taeib, Acting Secretary General of IIROSA and Dr. Ahmad Bin Hassan Aerjani, Secretary General of King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz Foundation for Housing Development, sign a cooperation agreement in Jeddah. — Courtesy photo JEDDAH — A cooperation agreement in the field of housing compounds services and providing decent source of livelihood to the needy in various parts of the Kingdom was recently signed between International Islamic Relief Organization, Saudi Arabia (IIROSA) and King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz Foundation for Housing Development. The agreement was signed by Ehsaan Saleh Taeib, Acting Secretary General of IIROSA and Dr. Ahmad Bin Hassan Aerjani, Secretary General of King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz Foundation for Housing Development. “This partnership is directed toward serving the poor and the needy,” Taeib said. He described King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz Foundation for Housing Development, which was established with great support from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah, as a pioneer foundation in the field of charitable housing development that combines both housing and social development. Under the agreement, he said, the IIROSA shall undertake providing financial costs and supervisory cadres for the projects and activities as well as compiling a team work from all its departments and programs. He added that IIROSA will launch the project of micro-loans for beneficiaries in the housing compounds in coordination with the foundation with regard to the mechanism of repaying such loans; in addition to supporting the Holy Qur'an memorization projects in those compounds. — SG
