RIYADH — Jamait-e-Ahle Haith Saudi Arabia (JAHSA) organized an all parties' conference to appreciate the recent visit of Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy premier and minister of defense, to Pakistan during his 3-nation swing to Asia. All political, religious and social groups here, including Muslim League, PTI, PPP, Jamait Islami, Jamait Ulmai-e-Pakistan, PSP, Qami Watan Party, Majlis Pakistan, Kashmir International Press Club, Pak Professional Forum and Bazam-e-Riyadh, participated in the forum. The program started with introductory comments by Maulana Umar Farooq Gaylani. Leaders of the political, religious and social groups welcomed the visit of Saudi Crown Prince to Pakistan. "Saudi Arabia is a very creditable and respectable friend of our country and its people," they said, adding, that Pakistan's relationship with Saudi Arabia is based on mutual respect and appreciation of efforts from both sides and the memorandums of understanding inked were reflection of the same. Sheikh Zain Irfan addressed in Arabic and represented the Pakistanis. Maulana Abdulmalik Mujahid expressed their gratitude to Saudi Crown Prince for issuing prompt directives for the release of about 2,000 Pakistanis jailed in Saudi Arabia. In a statement the participants said they felt immense pleasure over Crown Prince's remarks in which he had declared himself ‘as ambassador of Pakistan in Saudi Arabia'. Participants appreciated Prime Minister Imran Khan for giving such a warm welcome to the Crown Prince. They said, "We strongly believe that as result of this relation Pakistan is set to become one of the largest economy in the world by 2030 having the highest gross domestic product growth rate. The participants specially appreciated the Crown Prince for allowing Haj pilgrims to go through immigration procedures in Pakistan and to look into the conditions of Pakistani workers. The speakers said that at this stage opposition parties should have also been invited for showing national unity. Representatives of various groups appreciated Jamiat-e-Ahle Hadith for holding this session.
