BIC, Sakhir – The 2013 Formula One Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix is now just over a month away, and tickets are still available for the not-to-be-missed extravaganza of motor racing and entertainment. Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), “The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East”, hosts the prestigious event April 19, 20 and 21 at its world-class desert facilities in Sakhir. It will mark the ninth edition of the Bahrain race, as well as the fourth round of this year's FIA Formula 1 World Championship. BIC, in cooperation with the national carrier Gulf Air, advises fans to pick your tickets up as soon as possible so as to avoid any possible disappointment. There is something for everyone at the Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix, and both die-hard race fans and entertainment-seekers alike will be able to enjoy the three-day spectacle that has become one of the highlights of the Formula 1 season. Tickets to the Grand Prix can be purchased for the entire race weekend or for Race Day alone. All three-day ticket holders get exclusive bonuses not available to single-day pass holders, such as a Pit Lane Walk on the Thursday of the Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix. Tickets can be purchased for the various grandstands strategically located around BIC, including the Main Grandstand, the Turn One Grandstand, the University Grandstand, the Batelco Grandstand, and the Victory Grandstand. Tickets cost BD180 for the Main Grandstand for all three days of action, and BD155 for Race Day alone. The Batelco Grandstand offers tickets at BD120 apiece for three days and BD105 for Race Day. Tickets to the Turn One Grandstand are BD80 for the weekend and BD70 for the Grand Prix, while University Grandstand tickets cost BD65 for all three days and BD55 for Race Day. Victory Grandstand tickets are priced the lowest. They cost BD50 for the entire three-day weekend and BD40 for Race Day alone. Whichever tickets are purchased, fans will get the best value for money as the Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix has so much to offer and everyone will walk away with experience they will never forget. A Friday Roaming Ticket is also available and it can be purchased at BD65 for those looking to experience all the vantage points of the track on the Friday alone. Tickets can also be bought for the Gulf Air Club lounge for BD40 for all three days or BD20 for Friday only. The lounge is where fans can watch the events in a luxury tent with limitless food and beverages. Meanwhile, all kinds of discounts are available for youngsters. Children aged three to 15 years old receive a 50 percent discount on each ticket, while school students aged 16 and 17 can get a 25 percent discount. University students receive a 10 percent discount. People with special needs are offered a 25 percent discount, as are senior citizens aged 60 years old and above.
