GENEVA – The BMW Group has unveiled its new BMW M6 Series Gran Coupé – the third body variant of the BMW M6 high-performance sports car – at the 83rd Geneva International Motor Show. Expected to go on sale in the Middle East during the middle of this year, the new member of the M6 family is set to attract crowds to the BMW stand with its customary M performance characteristics with extra helpings of luxury and aesthetic appeal. Following in the tracks of the BMW M6 Series Convertible and Coupé that were launched last year, the new BMW M6 Series Gran Coupé is set to generate strong interest with its athletic sporty looks and head turning, high revving V8 engine with M TwinPower Turbo delivering 560 hp. The new BMW M6 Gran Coupé is immediately recognizable as an elegant and sporty 6 Series, but with enhanced M styling design cues that make it look sportier and more powerful. These elements include wider air intakes, stunningly contoured headlight units, the newly designed M kidney grille, which bears an "M6" badge, and powerful 17 and 18-inch M light-alloy wheels. Additional 2013 Geneva International Motor Show model introductions for the BMW Group include the BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo, which boasts spaciousness and practicality in aesthetic form, the innovative BMW i3 and i8 concepts and the BMW Concept Active Tourer, which combines comfort with dynamism and style. — SG
