DAMMAM — Eight people, including six students, were killed and seven teachers injured in separate accidents reported in various parts of the country on Tuesday. Seven teachers from Al-Asiah College and the car driver were injured when their vehicle overturned on their way from Buraidah to Al-Asiah. They were transported to different hospitals, while two are in a serious condition. The accident was blamed on a burst tire and excessive speed. Four students were killed when their car collided with another on Ras Tannurah Road. Paramedics could not rescue the students who died at the scene. Another two students were killed when their car collided with another on the Jazan-Abu Areesh Road. Two people burned to death in a horrific accident on the military city road in Hafr Al-Baten. Two cars collided on the road and an approaching truck that could not stop in time hit the wreckage. One of the cars was set ablaze by the impact with the two victims inside. — SG
