At least seven Asian passengers were killed when a tire burst caused their speeding bus to overturn several times near Oqlat Al-Sugour, 200 km west of Buraidah in the central region, said Col. Abdulaziz Al-Khalaf, Qassim Traffic Police chief. Six other Asians found injured in the wreckage were rushed to Oqlat Al-Sugour Hospital, from where four of them were referred to Al-Ras Hospital in critical condition, said Muhamad Al-Dabbasi, Qassim Health Department spokesman. On Ahsa-Salwa road, two persons were killed and three others wounded when two trucks collided head-on. Saudi Red Crescent cut through the wreckage to retrieve the injured and take them to Hafoof Hospital.
