RIYADH – Etihad Etisalat (Mobily) presented its huge TD LTE achievements during GSMA conference that was held in Barcelona, Spain. Engineer Alaa Al Maliki, Mobily's acting CTO, highlighted in the presence of CEOs of global telecom companies, Mobily's world records of achieving the highest volume term of data transmission and number of subscribers. In addition, he pointed out to the reliable infrastructure which contributed to those remarkable achievements, and the companies devotion to be pioneer in innovation based on GED strategy. “Mobily fully understands the current trend of telecom sector in the region. For this point, we invested in data sector for the high revenue and positive impact this sector has on customers,” said Al Maliki. He added that Mobily had set a new world record in daily 4G data transmission, which reached more than 400 terabytes per day, outperforming the previous numbers of 350 terabytes registered for 3G.
