Qatif riots trial next Wednesday

DAMMAM — The district court in Dammam will hear next Wednesday the defenses of five men accused of starting riots in Qatif governorate the Eastern Province several months ago. The district court already sentenced seven men to jail in connection with the riots. The decisions were referred to the Court of Cassation for review. Qatif witnessed a few months ago riots and shootings in which several people and police officers were killed.
