A Bisha Court has postponed the formation of the judicial committee that was supposed to take over the case of the two young men who stole two sheep until Sheikh Mohammad Al-Omari, President of the Court, comes back from his vacation probably next week. The formation of the committee comes after the Cassation Court in Makkah overturned the Bisha Court's verdict of six years in jail and 4,000 lashes against the two young sheep thieves. The Cassation Court has disqualified three judges including the president of Bisha Court from hearing the case as their previous verdict was considered to be unduly harsh. The two thieves considered the rejection of the verdict by the Cassation Court as a glimmer of hope. They said that they expect the new judicial committee to help release them as they have already spent 14 months in jail without being sentenced.
