RIYADH — A conference was held on Feb.15 at the Dawah Centre in New Industrial Area 2. Over 2000 people attended to listen to the informative and thought provoking speeches of renowned scholars. Secretary general Jamiat Ahel Hadith Pakistan Hafiz Abdul Karim S, Ali Muhammad Abu Turab Naib Amir, Maqsood ul Hassan Faizi and other scholars were among those who delivered informative lectures. Ambassador of Pakistan Muhammad Naeem Khan also attended and delivered a speech. In his speech, Khan appreciated the efforts of the Saudi government and said the government showed the world the real face of Islam with inter-religious dialogue. Abdul Malik Mujahid, acting managing director of Darussalam, also appreciated the efforts of the Dawah Centers that function under the supervision of Saudi government. Mujahid acknowledged the work of directors of Dawah Center Nasir Bin Aish al Buqmi and Hafiz Iqbal Rashid. He also delivered a speech on Dua'a. Renowned personalities of the Pakistani community, such as Zahid Raza Khan, head of counselor section, Syed Hammad Abdid, welfare counselor, Asghar Quraishi, Ch Faryad, Ch Bashir, ch Khalid Mahmood, Dr Mansoor Memon, Ch Ashiq, Rana Abdul Raouf, Fayyaz Ahmed Khan, Dr Mahmood Ahmed Bajwah, also attended the conference. — SG
