The meeting at the InterContinental Riyadh, introduced Japanese firms that provided various business opportunities with world's best products, technologies, systems and solutions by the countries top companies. Over 120 people from mainly the local private sector, including Abdulrahman Al-Jeraisy, Co-Chairman of Saudi-Japan Business Council, attended. National Industrial Clusters Development Program (NICDP). the Council of Saudi Chambers and Saudi Industrial Property Authority (MODON) supported the event, a press release said. The purpose of this meeting was to find business opportunities with Saudi companies by introducing Japan's cutting edge firms, manufacturers, and solution providers. In his opening remarks, Tadatsuna Koda, President of JCCME and the Japanese Coordinator, TF, said that this meeting is to the win-win situation for Japan and Saudi Arabia. Dr. Tariq Mohammed Al-Sallowm, Vice President of NICDP, hoped that this event would provide business opportunities with world best products, technologies, systems and solutions by Japan's top companies. Japanese experts and professionals from eight companies introduced their products and technologies. The presentation started with heavy industries and electric equipment companies, such as Hitachi, JFE Engineering, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, and Torishima Pump focusing on the latest environmental and energy saving technologies and solutions. In the second half, healthcare companies such as Tanita Corporation, Arkray, and Nikkiso held joint presentation, headed by Dr. Akira Yamami, Medical Atache of Japan Embassy, and it focused on the diabetes. The firms introduced their know-how and related products in each stage of diabetes symptoms. Japanese companies also had one-on-one meetings with visitors and provided then with products information and company profile. The meetings contributed to creating an awareness in the Saudi business community on the experiences and world-reputed technologies of these firms, while providing a platform for initial networking with related companies for the future partnership.
