In a meeting held at Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI) here today, Japan displayed its latest technologies related to water and renewable energy to woo Saudi businessmen to strike joint investments in this vital arena. On the occasion, JCCI Secretary General Adnan bin Hussein Mandourah pointed out to the historical and distinictive relations between the Kingdom and Japan and that there is a strong desire from businessmen to increase the volume of bilateral trade and investment exchange between the two sides, stressing the need to reactivate the role of the private sectors in the both countries to develop and activate joint investments. The event was attended by Jeddah-based Japanese Consul General Jin Yoshida; Chairman of the Japan Cooperation Center for the Middle East Tadatsuna Koda and 12 representatives of different Japanese companies. -- SPA
