Planas JEDDAH — Ric Reformado displayed his most prolific game to claim another Bowler of the Week honor with record-breaking total of 791 and thereby lifting Lance & 3rdy to a similar record-setting session handicapped series and Team of the Week honor with aggregate of 3,885. This outstanding performance helped his team post a gigantic win over Pin Slasher at the end of the elimination period of the FEDBG Friday Morning Bowling League 12th conference at the Bowling City here. Reformado started smudging Sol Cuenca's standing record of 733 since Week 4 by guiding the Evelyn Santoc-managed team with alarming 258. With this explosion plus the combined 1,036 supports from Marcelo Manalo, Rene Punzalan, Med Ramos, Shirley Sagmit and Santoc, Lance & 3rdy weakened Bulls with 1,294-1,145 initial fight. Fixing his track on lanes 15 and 16, Reformado chained 10 strikes to inflate leadership at 287 on the following set. Reduced help from teammates gave Pin Slasher the scratch 2 points at 1,180-1,172 but Lance still took handicapped set at 1,332-1,255. Bearing red-hot hand all the way, Reformado scorched the lanes once more with 246 to completely propel Lance & 3rdy with 791 league hi-series with handicap for men from scratch of 785. Such record completion backed up with 249 endgame of Punzalan had Lance & 3rdy conquered Pin Slasher 18-2 on enormous settlement of 3,885-3,502 including the end set of 1,259-1,102. Second best scorer for Lance & 3rdy was Punzalan 681, followed by Ramos 633, Manalo 627, Santoc 593 and Sagmit 560. Defending champion Pin Slasher was greatly defended by Dariel Loquias and May Lourdes at 603 and 606 with team captain Roger Daquioag, Gerry Mandanas, Tito Cruz and Jay Bengco contributing the rest of the shield. Sharing honor with Reformado was Grace Funtilon who emerged as the lady Bowler of the Week in her 633 defense of BCT Ball Care Mongoose that lost to FedExtreme on 18-2 (3,601-3,520) settlement.
Funtilon tried inspiring teammates with games of 198, 206 and 229. Hauling great for FedEx were Jowet Carreon 658 (282 in game 1), Fedelyn Bustinera 631 (257 in game 1) and Cesar Monares 610 (243 in game 2). Matches submitting 16-4 conclusion were Shawly Bowlers, D'Mountaineers, X-Alley and Petromin Express winning over Fire Fox, Royal Strikers, Pin Rockers and Micah's Pride, respectively. Unopposed Ekis 3 swept the 950 target for 20 points.
