nasair launches flight from Riyadh to Taif

nasair, the Saudi national carrier, celebrated Monday (Feb. 18) the launch of its first flight from Riyadh to Taif, and it also celebrated the arrival of its first international flight at Taif International airport coming from Kuwait. This step comes in response to the demand of nasair customers in each of Taif, Riyadh and Kuwait.
Chief Executive Officer François Bouteiller and senior officials arrived aboard the first flight coming from Riyadh. nasair CEO and the GM of Operation of domestic airports at GACA, the Director General of Taif airport and airport officials all shared cutting the tart prepared specially for this occasion. Afterwards, they received the passengers of the first flight coming back from Kuwait with gifts and flowers and wished them a pleasant stay in Taif. Similarly they bid farewell to those who were leaving on the first flight from Riyadh wishing them a safe and happy flight.
In a press conference at Taif Airport, Bouteiller said: “Taif strategic location with its continuous growth of travel demand encouraged nasair to expand its operation to this important part of the Kingdom”
“Launching the new destination of TaifRiyadh and TaifKuwait is considered as a historic accomplishment in the successful journey of nasair. Since the inception of nasair (7) years ago, the company has achieved a remarkable growth in an exceptional period of time and in fact we could have never accomplished this triumph without the support of our loyal customers all over the years,” he added.
Bouteiller further said “launching and operating nasair new airlines - between Taif and Riyadh by four weekly flights, and also TaifKuwait by three weekly flights – are considered as the most important destinations launched throughout 2013.”
He also stressed that these destinations shall accomplish huge success according to the actual indicators.
He moreover clarified that the continuity of this success shall be a stimulant for increasing the number of flights to these destinations and that Nasair shall definitely work on activating the leisure traffic between Taif airport and Kuwait.
Bouteiller also expressed his thanks to the Governor of Taif, Fahd Bin Abdulaziz Bin Moamer, when he met the latter in his office, for continuously supporting nasair and for his endless activities in Taif.
Bouteiller also extended nasair's appreciation to the General Authority of Civil Aviation for the great support under the direction Prince Fahad bin Abdullah Al Saud. — SG
