It was a heart-breaking loss for Marhaba as it was in the driving seat all the way to the last eight seconds of the game. Free throws helped Urban Design secure its second win in its three outings. Ricky Reloj scored 31 points for Urban Design and was adjudged the Giordano Player of the Game. Creencia netted 21 points for Marhaba. The tournament is being sponsored by Giordano Fashions (Ahmedullah), ABS-CBN-The Filipino Channel, Saudi Signs (Sam Adora), Al-Haddaf Sports ware (Bayoumi) and Arabian Food Supplies Catering Division (Ahmad Miri). In another match, ALJ Toyota Sequoia of Abdullah Jimmy Beltran beat Safari 59-44. E.J. Destresa top-scored with nine points for the winner and was adjudged the JBL Player of the Game. Jeffrey Joseco scored 9 points for Safari. In another game, Uptown 966 of Halim Mezher defeated Al-Ettifaq 60-49. Albert Bandiola led the winner with 14 points and was adjudged the Saudi Signs Player of the Game, while Infeliz top-score for the losing side with 15 points. BM Originals Red of Mahmoud Quidlat demolished Taqwa Brothers Green 84-64 in the JDC Inter-Color event. Omar Canoy scored 29 points for BM Originals Red and was adjudged the JBL Player of the Game. Waleed scored 19 points for Taqwa Brothers Green. In matches played on Thursday, Jeddah Eagles of Coach Hassan beat ALJ Used Cars 61-57. Al-Wani Jamal, a promising young player, top-scored for Jeddah Eagles with 17 points and was adjudged the JBL Player of the Game. Kelvoin Ray Llamado had 19 points for ALJ Used Cars. El-Khereji of Jojo defeated Al-Muhaidib 73-72. The winner stole the game in the dying seconds of the final quarter. Agustin contributed 20 points for the winner and was adjudged the JBL Player of the Game. Gary Fadernal led Al-Muhaidib with 19 points. In another outing, AVK Wild Boys of Jolli Tilo beat ALJ Central Purchasing 76-70. Aderna top-score for Wild Boys with 22 points and was adjudged the JBL Player of the Game, while Jams netted 14 points for the losing team. Saudia Aviation of Andrew Masongsong defeated Saudi Diyar 71-60. De Castro scored 18 points for Saudia Aviation to claim the JBL Player of the Game. Gerald De Leon chipped in with 23 points for Saudi Diyar.
