RIYADH – Nada short-listed 10 finalists that will compete for the SR 100,000 grand prize as part of its “Blend us a mix” competition. The announcement also signals the beginning of the voting phase, which allows users to vote for their favorite mix via online platforms. The 10 shortlisted mixes are: Africano, Cool breeze, Gulf Brezze, Vanilloz, Juicylicious, Sunrise Mix, Zinjabar, Mangolita, Frulcado and Cocoberry. These top 10 mixes will be receiving votes from the public, encouraging their originators to hold social media campaigns of their own. “Blend us a mix”, an unprecedented social media competition in the GCC, both in its size and nature, has received an overwhelming response from consumers at with over 25,000 entries, some from as far away as Australia. The shortlisting phase involved selecting the most innovative and appropriate names and mixes. The mix with the highest number of votes will be the be declared the winner and will receive SR100,000, second place SR50,000, and third place SR15,000 The prizes will be handed over to winners in person during the award ceremony. Voters will also be able to be part of the weekly sweepstake series of 3 prizes per week. “Blend us a mix” is yet another innovative initiative by Nada, known as a pioneer in unique concepts that engages with their consumers. “We believe the reason behind ‘Blend us a mix' success is due to the fact that we have given the consumer total control this time,” said Ageel AlAhmed, category manager at Nada.
