ABHA — Four police officers were wounded in Dhahran Al-Janoub (South Dhahran) after raiding the hideout of a group of men in the mountains near Al-Qaah village. Local director of investigations First Lt. Al-Hassan Saeed Al-Qahtani, Sgt. Hadi Mohammed Al-Qahtani, Pvt. Theeb Falah Al-Qahtani and Pvt. Saif Mohammed Al-Shahrani were wounded while pursuing a group of Ethiopian men. Spokesperson for Asir police Lt. Col. Abdullah Shaathan said the team had been a part of a raid that was trying to arrest the suspects. The suspects saw the police team arriving at the scene and attacked them with stones and wooden blocks, he said, which led to the four officers sustaining their injuries. Nine of the suspects were arrested and were currently in custody pending further investigations.
