50 hospitalized with food poisoning

SAMTAH — Fifty people suffered from food poisoning after eating at a restaurant in Samtah. Samtah General Hospital treated 26 cases, while the other cases were taken to different hospitals in the area.

Governor of Samtah Dr. Khalid Al-Jeraiwi said an African national is suspected of distributing contaminated wheat to restaurants. He was detained for further investigations.
