PISJ-ES students brainstorm key issues at OIC Model Meeting

JEDDAH – Students of Pakistan International School Jeddah - English Section (PISJ-ES) presented the special session of the OIC Model Meeting, highlighting the Kashmir Solidarity Day cause, held at the Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Auditorium on Feb.3, Sunday.
PISJ-ES students brainstormed the key issues representing different OIC member states.
The school principal and Pakistan Senator, Sehar Kamran addressed the honorable and distinguished guests, dignitaries, faculty members and students.
"Our objective is to highlight the Kashmir Solidarity Day and create awareness among the students about the Kashmir issue. And the best we could do has been done today by presenting the OIC Model Meeting. It is our heartfelt Tribute to this very important Muslim Forum," she said.
The students at the OIC Model Meeting represented different OIC member states: Saudi Arabia, UAE, Malaysia, Turkey, Niger, Bahrain, Libya, Pakistan, Palestine, Qatar, Bangladesh, Kashmir, Morocco, Kuwait, Egypt and Iran.
The participating students were Hassan Farooq, OIC chairman; Hamza Alam, general secretary; Hamad Qadri, UN Representative; Ibrahim Qureshi and Fatima Mohsin, human right; Sohaib Khalid and Hafsa Khan, media representatives; along with Awais Zaheer, Hamdaan Altaf, Fahad Abdul Ghani, Aleena Hasan, Hamna Hasan, Farza Khurram, Javeria Rahman, Haad Muzaffar, Sara Khan, Minahil Saifullah, Sadia Shafqat, Waleed Umar, Ayesha Ali, Wajiha Yousuf, Arwa Ali, Maryam Suhail, Ahsen Saeed Usmani, and Zain Yousufzai.
At the end of the session of the OIC model meeting, the PISJ-ES students as media representatives also took the views of the distinguished guests Tariq Mishkhas, Chief Editor of Urdu News, Guest of Honour Aftab Ahmed Khokar and the newly appointed Consul General of Pakistan in Jeddah, chief guest Ambassador Ezzat Kamel Mufti and Consul General of Turkey Fikret Ozer, on the issue of Kashmir and the model OIC meet of the students. – SG
