JEDDAH – The year-long Kenwood cooking competition on Saudi Arabia Facebook finally came to a close, with housewife Hayuna outperforming all other competitors and clinched the top prize. She has been accorded the title “Chef Kenwood Arabia 2012.” The competition, launched for the first time at the beginning of 2012, continued throughout the year and included months of preparing international cuisines such as Asian, Italian cuisine and Lebanese, in addition to Saudi cuisine, which varied each month. Hayuna was pleased to have won the first place and thanked Kenwood for organizing the contest. Chef Hayuna has prepared food that has won her also the Kenwood titanium kitchen machine with accessories. Hayuna has demonstrated the highest international standard of cooking preparation and mixing the right ingredients to come up with outstanding food presentation under the most demanding condition, a Kenwood executive said.
