Juffali Auto Parts Company (Japco), Bosch's sole representative in the Kingdom since 1965, hosted two customer events in honor of Frank Schlehuber, the Senior Vice President of Bosch Automotive Aftermarket and the executives from the Bosch Middle East regional office based in Dubai, and Vice President Guido Gring. Addressing the events held in Jeddah and Riyadh, Frank Schlehuber expressed his confidence in the company's future in the Kingdom. “Bosch holds the distinctive capability of offering parts, workshop test equipment, software, service and training solutions from one source. In the coming years, we will work closely with Juffali to improve in all these areas to capitalize upon our unique competitive advantage.” said Frank Schlehuner. “KSA is the key market in the region due to its unmatched opportunities. We are committed to taking the expansion route in KSA and registering a sustained double digit growth with the help of our valuable partners Juffali,” he added. The events that bannered the theme “driving together with Bosch“ were attended by the company‘s key wholesalers, retailers, fleet owners and workshops who were awarded based on their 2012 performance. Representing Juffali, Mohamad Abdulrahim, General Manager, Japco, thanked the high-powered delegation for their visit. Giving details of the business expansion plan, he said that both Bosch and Japco recognized the fact that the Saudi market was increasingly dominated by Asian and American cars. Therefore, beside its strong European program, Bosch is expanding their product portfolio to cater for non-European vehicles. Earlier during his busy, two-day visit, Frank Schlehuber inaugurated a Japco Bosch Car Service center in Riyadh and the region's first Diagnostics-only showroom in Jeddah. He also visited a number of customers in the two cities and attended luncheon meetings with diplomats and leading automotive players in the Kingdom. This was yet another confirmation of Japco and Bosch's joint strategy towards integrating the service networks. With annual turnover grossing 51.4 billion euros (over SR250 billion) and over 300,000 employees worldwide, Robert Bosch GmbH is considered one of the world's leading suppliers of automobile components. The group also holds a strong position in industrial technology, consumer goods and building technology. The automotive product portfolio of the company ranges from all-familiar components like starters, alternators and spark plugs to the cutting edge solutions such as power train automation and vehicle dynamics stability. Juffali, Bosch's sole representative for over 45 years, has played a significant role in the Kingdom's development.
