JEDDAH – Prince Turki Bin Abdullah Al Faisal Al Saud will open the Jeddah office of ITL World Travel Management Company (formerly ITL Tours and Travels Co.) – one of the leading travel management companies in the region – at a grand ceremony today (Monday) at 10.30 a.m. The new office is located on Madinah Road, opposite Al-Fitaihi Center and close to headquarters of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). At a press conference here Saturday, Rafeeq Mohammed, Regional Head of ITL World, Middle East, said the Jeddah branch, which is ITL World's 15th office in the Middle East and eighth in Saudi Arabia, will accelerate ITL World's expansion in the Western region. Mohammed added that the Jeddah branch will be the Group's 25th and the largest office on its Asian network. Several distinguished figures, including well-known Indian celebrity R. Sarat Kumar, Ambassador of the Philippines to the Kingdom Tago Ezzedin, prominent Kerala religious leader Panakkad Sayed Sadiq Ali Shihab Thangal, and Dr. Salman Al-Sudairi, will attend the inaugural ceremony. Dr. Siddeek Ahmed, Chairman & Managing Director of ITL & Eram Group of Companies, and officials of the group will also be present. Established in 1980s in Mumbai, ITL has expanded in India and abroad. ITL/Eram Group consists of over 100 companies, spread across four continents and employing about 9,000. The ITL World is the local distributor for Disneyland Paris, Disneyland Hong Kong, Walt Disney World Orlando and Disney Magic Cruises. The press conference was also attended by Zamil Kassim, Business Development Manager-GCC, Shahzad Ahmed, Holidays Manager-KSA, and Abdurahman Al-Musalli, Government Relations Officer.
