ReelSonar is a wireless fish finder. It consists of a “smart bobber,” which is about the size of an apricot and is attached to the fishing line. The bobber emits ultrasound waves to gather data on whatever is in the surrounding water up to 150 feet deep. Circuitry within the bobber receives, filters and transmits Radio Frequency (RF) signals via Bluetooth to a nearby paired smart-device. The smart bobber has a bite alarm that lights up, and the app signals when fish are near. The system is expected to retail for less than $100. Get more details at www.indiegogo.com/reelsonar
