Researchers at North Carolina State University have created a wireless biological interface that allows them to remotely control a cockroach. By attaching the device to the bug's antennae, team leader Alper Bozkurt, an assistant professor of electrical engineering at NC State and his team were able to send commands to steer the roach. It's thought that the Roach Biobot could be used to gather information after disasters or in hazardous environments. Watch the roach video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gmbEX7zDzog
