MANILA — Kim Chiu was brutally honest in saying she was surprised at the brewing romance between her best friend Maja Salvador and ex-beau Gerald Anderson. In an interview with Push.com.ph, Chiu said she was caught unawares by the budding relationship. She said she did not expect it at all because when she was going through a rough time with Anderson back in 2010, it had been Salvador who served as her sounding board. But Chiu also said she was happy for them. “There's nothing wrong because they're both single. Let's just be happy for them. It's just sad because the friendship ended.” Short of saying she felt betrayed, Chiu added that she was saddened that her confidante just ate her words.
