NEW DELHI — Composer-singer-actor-producer Himmesh Reshammiya credits his popularity and success in Bollywood to actor Salman Khan. According to a local Indian daily, Reshammiya said that his big break in the industry wouldn't have been possible if Khan and his family had not supported him. The 39-year-old also believes that besides talent, the formula to success in Bollywood includes links to an influential celebrity. “It's not been hard because I had Khan's family backing me. They gave me my first break at a very early age. I didn't really have to struggle,” said Reshammiya. With five blockbusters in his kitty, Reshammiya is confident that his next film “Special Chabbis” will also make it to the RS.100 crore league, ndtv.com reported. His first international album “At Da Edge,” composed of 15 songs with remixes from DJ Edward Maya, will be released across 122 countries in 2013. The first video of the album will be shot in the US by Roman White who is known for directing videos for Canadian singer Justin Bieber. — SG
