UNAIZAH — Eastern Province traffic patrols recorded 26,765 traffic violations last week. Spokesman for Eastern Province traffic police, Lt. Col. Ali Al-Zahrani said violations included speeding, not carrying a driving license and no license plates. Unaizah traffic police also conducted a traffic campaign at a number of main streets. At least 711 traffic violations were recorded and 66 vehicles confiscated. Unaizah traffic police director Col. Abdullah Al-Mohtarish said the campaign focused on violations that were a hazard to public safety.
