Vehicle in 5-car smashup identified

MAKKAH — The Makkah police have identified the company owning the vehicle that smashed into five cars parked on Aziziyah Street. The driver of the car that triggered the smashup fled the scene. Spokesman of Makkah Traffic police Lt. Col. Fawzy Al-Ansari said that the vehicle belongs to a water distributing company. The company will be contacted to identify the driver. Damages will be estimated, and the car owners will be reimbursed, he added. — SG
