MAKKAH — Highway Patrol in Al-Laith arrested 14 foreign men at a checkpoint dressed in women's clothing while trying to enter the city. Policemen at the checkpoint saw the van's driver acting suspiciously, and began a thorough check. The driver broke down during questioning and admitted that he was smuggling illegals dressed up in women's clothing as camouflage. The illegal foreigners were traveling from the Southern Region to Jeddah. Preliminary investigation showed that the driver charged each passenger SR1,000. — SG
