Abdullah and Salman RIYADH – Upon the directives of King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, a surgical operation is scheduled to take place at King Abdulaziz Medical City of the National Guard in Riyadh to separate five-month-old Saudi Siamese twins. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeah, Minister of Health, said the mother of the conjoined twins, who was suffering from medical conditions during pregnancy, was transferred at the instructions of the King from Bisha to an advanced hospital in the capital where she underwent a Cesarean section. Following intensive post-delivery diagnosis, doctors decided to conduct the separation surgery of the twins – Abdullah and Salman – next Friday. – SPA
