JEDDAH — Indian navy's newly acquired Talwar Class frigate INS Tarkash will make a goodwill visit to Jeddah on Dec. 14-17. The ship, commanded by Capt. Antony George, is on its maiden voyage from Russia to India. The visit is aimed at strengthening friendship and harmony with the country's maritime neighbors, the Indian Consulate General said in a statement. In March, three Indian naval ships — INS Tir, INS Shardul and ICGS Veera — visited Jeddah on a goodwill mission. — SG
