TAIF — Taif police are searching for two people who refused to stop at a police check point. One of the pair is a wanted criminal in a number of cases. The four car occupants fled the Asheerah check point and police pursued the car. The occupants fired at police. In the exchange of fire, two of the car occupants were injured. The other two car occupants fled into the local Al-Wakrah neighborhood. Acting spokesman for Taif police Saleem Al-Rebai'ei said that two of the culprits were detained and a search for the other two is under way.
