JEDDAH — Khak-e-Taiba Trust (KTT) Jeddah, an educational and community welfare service organization, honored Mohammed Hussain, a former member of the Waqf Board and General Secretary of Telugu Desam Party, a regional political outfit in the southern Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. Hussain is in the Kingdom on a short visit. Hussain commended the efforts of KTT for reaching out to the weaker sections of society by imparting quality education free of cost. “Believe me, no educational institution in India has ever made an effort to provide free education,” he said, adding that education in India is becoming expensive and beyond the reach of ordinary people. Pledging his support to the KTT educational missions, Hussain assured that he will do his best in his capacity to see that the trust's institutions get full minority status. He said he would also make every effort to obtain a reasonable size of plot to facilitate KTT build a school and an administrative office of its own at the heart of Hyderabad city. Hussain appreciated the efforts of KTT Jeddah committee and its dedication to promote education among the underprivileged people of Hyderabad. He also lauded computer courses run by KTT in Jeddah's Aziziah district.
