RIYADH —Real estate deals in different regions and governorates of the Kingdom exceeded SR4.5 billion last week, the weekly report issued Sunday by the Ministry of Justice said. The report showed that the real estate deals witnessed a rise in the First Notary Public Office in Riyadh, Madinah, Dammam, Al-Khobar, Khamis Mushayt, AL-Jafr, Huraimila, Al-Ahsa, Al-Qateef, Yanbu, Buraidah and Ar'ar. However, they witnessed a decrease in Makkah, Jazan, Jubail, Hafr Al-Batin, Al-Qurayyat and Al-Dera'iah. The real estate deals witnessed a rise in the First Notary Public Office in Riyadh with the value exceeding SR1.6 billion registering a 54.71 percent rise; in the First Notary Public Office in Madinah with a value of SR244 million registering a 2.87 percent rise; in Dammam with a value of SR1 billion and a rise of 145.7 percent; in Al-Khobar with a rise of SR316 million reaching 9.38 percent; and in Khamis Mushayt, they rose by SR51 million reaching 138.2 percent. The real estate deals last week witnessed a rise in Al-Jafr reaching SR7 million registering 122.4 percent; and in Huraimila, the deals registered a rise of SR9 million reaching 169.22 percent. The real estate deals in the First Notary Public Office in Al-Ahsa rose by 307 million registering 361.33 percent and in Al-Qateef, there was a rise of SR53 million, reaching 4.58 percent. The real estate deals in Yanbu registered a rise of SR207 million reaching 345.67 percent; in the First Notary Public Office in Buraidah real estate deals registered a rise of SR338 million reaching 60.73 percent; and in Ar'ar the deals rose by SR12 million reaching 4.49 percent. At the same time, the Ministry of Justice report showed a decrease in real estate deals in the First Notary Public Office in Makkah by SR106 million reaching 60.73 percent; a drop reaching SR17 million equivalent to 25.38 percent in the First Notary Public Office in Jazan; a decrease reaching SR54 million equivalent to 18.63 percent in Jubail; a drop reaching SR32 million equivalent to 30.16 percent in Hafr Al-Batin; a drop reaching SR4 million and equivalent to 51.34 percent in Al-Qurayyat; and the deals dropped by SR90 million reaching 39.07 percent in Al-Dera'iah. – SG/SPA
