Abdulrahman Al-Ali Saudi Gazette JEDDAH — The Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice (Hai'a) busted a prostitution ring in Jeddah's Al-Rawdah district. Four women of African origin were arrested and are currently being questioned by the police. A team from the Hai'a placed the women's residence under surveillance after they received a tip-off about illegal activities in the house. The Hai'a members learned that the women were luring young men and charging them between SR600 and SR1,000 a night. After confirming the suspicions, the Hai'a team set up a sting operation to arrest the women. A Hai'a agent contacted one of the women and asked her to arrange a party for a group of young men. She demanded a large amount of money in return and gave the agent the party location. Hai'a members arrived with the local police and arrested the women.
