Girl rescued from burning house

JEDDAH — Fire fighters rescued a teenage girl when a fire broke out in her ramshackle home at Al-Rabwa neighborhood in Jeddah on Monday morning. The fire fighters smashed a window and entered the house filled with smoke and headed for the room where the girl was trapped. They carried her out and rushed her to Erfan Hospital where she was treated for smoke inhalation. Preliminary investigations indicate that the fire was due to a short circuit.
