Senior Pakistan People's Party (PPP) leader Makhdoom Amin Fahim says the ruling coalition's impeachment plan is a “political game” and he would play it carefully. “I would treat the PPP in the same way it had so far treated me,” he said. The veteran leader said he did not object to the intentions of those backing the move, noting that the prevailing situation in Pakistan did not warrant such an act. Fahim said all political leaders should work to bring stability to the country. He said PPP had neither contacted nor consulted him on the issue of the impeachment. Meanwhile, PML-Q chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has contacted Fahim to device a strategy for countering the impeachment movement against President Pervez Musharraf. Information Minister Sherry Rehman said Fahim was being persuaded to vote against Musharraf during impeachment move in the parliament. She said Federal Minister Khursheed Shah was in contact with Fahim to convince him for supporting the president's impeachment. __
