‘Son of Sardar' all set for release

MUMBAI – Ajay Devgan and Sonakshi Sinha's latest film “Son of Sardar” (SOS) is all set for release on November 13 and is being pitted against Shahrukh Khan's romantic film “Jab Tak Hain Jaan” and despite frequently landing in legal hot water due to the negative portrayal of the Sikh community.
The cast and crew of SOS remained undeterred and are heavily promoting their film. The film's lead pair, Devgan and Sinha, will also be seen promoting their movie on the sets of KBC (“Kaun Banega Crorepart Season 6”) prior to its release.
Earlier, the duo were seen promoting their film on “Bigg Boss 6” and Indian Grand Prix, Budd International Circuit.
SOS is a remake of the Telugu movie “Maryada Ramanna,” which is again a remake of the American silent movie “Our Hospitality,” according to News Track India.
Directed by Ashwini Dhir, SOS also stars Sanjay Dutt and Juhi Chawala.
Salman Khan reportedly will also make a guest appearance in an “item song.” – SG
