RIYADH — A Saudi groom was left rather embarrassed when he had to cut his wedding short because of a power cut. The poor man had rented a big wedding hall and invited hundreds of his friends to attend. Just as guests were arriving, there was a sudden power cut and the hall went dark. All efforts to restore power failed as the main power plant was experiencing a problem. There was chaos in the women's section of the wedding hall. In the end, the groom was left with no choice but to cut his wedding party short. The Saudi groom said he plans to sue the electricity company and the wedding hall owner.
