Today's (Thursday) episode of docu-reality TV show “Stars of Science” on MBC4 will see six candidates showcase their innovations during the Design phase, to reveal the five young Arab innovators who will make it through to the final stages of this year's competition. Now in its fourth season, episode seven of Stars of Science looks set to have viewers on the edge of their seats as one candidate will go home after the Design stage of the competition. Battling it out for a place in the final five will be Khaled Eid from Kuwait, Khalid Aboujassoum and Jaber Henzab from Qatar, Amina Al Hawaj from Bahrain, Hekmat Alrouh from Syria and finally Mohamed Watfa from Lebanon. During the Design phase, the candidates will be assessed on the integration of their product's function, interface and aesthetics, and any enhancements made to the design, in addition to their overall approach throughout the assessment. At the end of the episode, the five candidates chosen to proceed to the semi final Business stage of the competition will be revealed by guest jury members, James Law- Chairman & Chief Cybertect at James Law Cybertecture International, and Dean Allyson Vanstone, Dean of Virginia Commonwealth University's School of the Arts in Qatar. Episode 7 will be shown at 8:00 p.m. KSA time, with daily updates from Saturday to Wednesday 5:00 p.m., KSA time on MBC4. The program is hosted by Khaled Jumaily for a fourth season. – SG
