TABUK — Two employees of the Commission for Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice (Hai'a) have been assaulted by four young men and a female inside the Al-Hamra center in Tabuk. Explaining the incident, a commission member told Okaz/Saudi Gazette that they received information that a female had ordered a meal and sat in the men's section. The Hai'a men advised her about the error she was making and left after taking her guardian's telephone number. The Hai'a called the woman's brother and explained to him what had happened. Less than half an hour later, the Hai'a men were surprised as four young men accompanied by the woman entered the Al-Hamra center and assaulted one of their staff and security guards, who managed to close the doors and call the police. The assailants were taken to Al-Hamra police station. According to the woman's brother, she told him over telephone that the Hai'a members forced her out of her car and made her walk to the Hai'a center. When he came to pick her up at the Hai'a center, he had a heated argument with the officials that eventually resulted in the assault. — SG
