RIYADH – The Board of Directors of Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI), in its meeting Wednesday, elected Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Zamil as RCCI chairman. It also elected Khaled Al-Muqairin and Dr. Sami Al-Abdulkareem, as deputy chairmen and Fahd Al-Thunayyan as the representative of RCCI in the Council of Saudi Chambers of Commerce. The Board also includes Saad Al-Mi'jil, Abdulaziz Al-Ajlan, Badr Al-Rajhi, Bandar Al-Humaidhi, Hamad Al-Shuway'ir, Othman Al-Qasabi, Ali Al-Othaim, Fahd Al-Hammadi, Fahd Al-Qassim, Fahd Al-Thunayyan, Majed Al-Gharbi, Muhammad Al-Ajlan, Muhammad Al-Hammadi, Muhammad Al-Khaleel, and Mansour Al-Shathri. Al-Zamil expressed his appreciation to members of the Board for choosing him, noting that the body will continue to upgrade the private sector in Riyadh region, serve the national economy and support the development programs. Stressing that the Board will function as one team, Al-Zamil said it will exert utmost efforts and use all the potentials of RCCI to achieve a qualitative change in the chamber's performance to enhance work environment in the private sector. Al-Muqairin added he will spare no effort to enable the Board to achieve the objectives of RCCI for the greater service of its subscribers and participate effectively in economic and social development. Al-Abdulkareem said he would strengthen cooperation with all colleagues for the betterment of the RCCI members, thereby contributing to the socio-economic development.
