ABHA – Over the past three months Asir police arrested 23,000 beggars who also turned out to be illegal workers, said a spokesman. In addition, 439 criminals were arrested while 560 guns were confiscated over the same period. The spokesman added: “We'll continue our campaigns in the region and we urge citizens to cooperate with us and report any criminal or illegal activities.”
