RIYADH — Dr. Turki Al Rasheed has recently been appointed Visiting Research Fellow at Liverpool Business School, Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU), United Kingdom. LJMU is one of the top 100 new universities in the world, and has an outstanding international reputation for its research. It is one of the leading research-active contemporary universities in Briatin. The Liverpool Business School has been in existence for nearly 40 years.Its research areas are both wide and dynamic, and are supported by dedicated and knowledgeable staff. Dr. Al Rasheed gained his DBA from LBS in 2011, using his vast knowledge of and interest in agricultural sustainability in developing countries to produce his thesis. It has since been turned into a successful book – Agricultural Development Strategies: the Saudi Experience. Dr. Al Rasheed's 30 years' experience in the business world in Saudi Arabia coupled with his research interests will enable him to make a positive contribution to LBS, which will include teaching duties and supervision of postgraduate students. — SG
