The First seminar of its kind in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia about "Artificial Intelligence" through universal classes and held under the auspices of Fatima Ba Othman, a professor at King Abdulaziz University, started its deliberations at Dar Al-Hikma (Wisdom House) female college here today. The seminar was attended by more than 500 delegates, representing business sector, data information companies in addition to academics, researchers and people interested in such fields. Deputy governor of Telecommunications Commission for Information Technology Dr. Ahmad Sendi ,who inaugurated the seminar deliberations, affirmed the importance of such seminar, pointing out that it is linked by satellites through Video-Conference system to more than ten outstanding world universities in Japan, Britain, the United States, Australia, Austria, Switzerland, Croatia, Poland, Portugal and Brazil. Dr. Sendi added that "Artificial Intelligence" is one of the latest sciences for using technology in education. During the seminar, ten specialized professors from different universities talked through satellites about the importance of multi-cultural dialogue by modern technology to remove all the barriers standing in the way of interactive societies pointing out to the Kingdom's progress in this field.
