JEDDAH – The Kingdom has urged international human rights bodies to take serious note of Israel's atrocities in Palestine and its flagrant violations of the Geneva Convention. Chairing the weekly Cabinet session here Monday, Crown Prince Salman, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, briefed the members on the messages he received and his contacts and consultations with a number of leaders and officials of friendly countries focusing on bilateral relations and ways of strengthening them. In a statement, Dr. Abdul Aziz Khoja, Minister of Culture and Information, said the Cabinet reviewed a number of scientific, medical, social and cultural activities, especially the inauguration of the 16th version of Souk Okaz. The Cabinet made special mention of what has been achieved with the King's support manifested in the employment of 299,000 male and female citizens in various government agencies this fiscal year. It also praised the successful separation of Saudi conjoined twins, the 30th such successful surgery performed at King Abdul Aziz Medical City in Riyadh. The Cabinet approved two separate memorandums of understanding between the Kingdom and Indonesia and with the Republic of San Marino to cooperate in the exchange of investigations related to money laundering and terror financing. The Cabinet approved agreements signed between the Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland and the Republic of Malta to prevent tax evasion on income tax and dual taxation. The Cabinet approved the appointment of Ali Bin Saleh Al-Barrak, Mohammed Bin Omar Al-Esaiee and Saud Bin Abdulaziz Al-Ansari as members of the Board of Directors of the Real Estate Development Fund for three years effective from the date of issuance of the decision. – SPA
