King leaves on holiday, deputizes Crown Prince

King Abdullah, Custodian of the two Holy Mosques, left the Kingdom Monday on a special holiday abroad. The King issued a Royal Order deputizing Crown Prince Salman Bin Abdul Aziz, Deputy Premier and Defense Minister, to manage state affairs and oversee the interests of the people during his absence. The King was accompanied by Prince Faisal Bin Muhammad Al-Kabeer; Prince Meqrin Bin Abdul Aziz, Special Advisor and Envoy to the King; Prince Faisal Bin Abdullah, Minister of Education, and some other princes, said a Royal Court statement. — SPA
